DAY 8

YayHorrayy!!! I am down 10 pounds now. I feel so good about myself and how my clothes are fitting. I have learned a few things about healthy eating: NEVER eat anything with BHT in it. It is a cheap preservative that companies use to keep things "fresh". It is soooo bad for you! It can prevent your body from absorbing needed vitamins and leave you hungry not long after you eat, making you want to eat MORE food. Also, high fructose corn syrup is not good for you despite what the commercials say. Flossing your teeth can help you loose weight. A handful of blueberries a day will keep you very healthy, as well as a bannana. Cooked oatmeal or cream of wheat is AWESOME for your health, toss in some of those blueberries . . . BAM! One healthy breakfast. Try to drink up to 2 liters of water or herbal tea a day, your digestive system will thank you. Be careful about the lotions and makeup you use. Your body can absorbe hidden calories through your skin. Baby Oil is good to use. Lipstick is ok and so is eyeliner and mascara. But your body lotion and foundation can keep you from losing weight. I use the mineral oil gel so its easier to use. Also; if you are feeling really tired and worn out you can eat a handful of nuts to boost your energy and stave off the hunger. I have almonds because they have less fat than other nuts. Yoga is good for you even if you are on a really low calorie diet and tired. It is good for your posture and mental health. WHEW! well there you go . . . just some things that can help you get healthy and lose those pounds.
