OkOkOk---So I'm a slacker...

I know, its been YEARS since I have posted on our family blog. I sincerely appollogize from the bottom of my cold cruel heart.
So, our lives have been going strong the last few years. . .
Brian has been unemployed for the last almost year and is starting college next week at CWI. His major will be Biology with emphasis on Natural Resources. He is hoping to be graduated with his 4 year degree.
I have been mommy and it is keeping me very busy. I worked for a little restaurant here in Homedale for a couple of months. Wow, I was outta the working groove. I swear my brain has turned into mush. I speant a lot of time last summer canning food and learning how to garden and preserve the produce. I still have a lot to learn, but it sure is satisfying to open a jar of peaches that I picked and canned myself.
Brooklyn is getting taller and taller everyday. She is in second grade and loves her sweet teacher here. She has been riding the horses a lot and has her own little saddle to ride. She is also my sweet little helper. I don't know what I would do if she werent here to help out with Rylee. She is so sweet and patient with her baby sister. They share a room and there are days when Brooklyn wakes up with dark circles under her eyes because her baby sis kept her up, but she is ever sweet. She is very good at reading chapter books and doing back bends.
Kaden just came through an oral surgery to fix all of his teeth and got 4 pulled. Poor lil man. But he came through just fine and was even smiling when he came out of the anesthesia. HE never complained of pain so the oral surgeon did a really good job. He is very excited to start soccer in March and run off some of his energy.
Rylee is a year old now and she runs this joint. She LOVES food and gets very cranky if she is even a little hungry. We have to keep the monster fed and appeased. She has all 4 one year molars and is learning sign language. She love to sign "all done" whan she is done eating. "Thank you" and "eat". She loves spending time with GrandMary because GrandMary gives her undivided and total attention. And feeds her really good. Hahaha. Rylee adores music and loves to sing along with the radio.
Our family is renting a little house here in Wilder Idaho on an acre of land. I am very excited to plant a huge garden in the spring.
Our horse Bella got caught in the fence a few days ago and we didn't know if she was going to make it. She colicked and went into shock. We also thought her leg may have been broken. We rushed her to the vet and they have kept her for a few days. She is now over the colick and they x rayed the leg and found no breaks. We get to bring her home today, but we won't be able to ride her for a few months. My neice Halie is riding Bella in the 4H programs and entering her in the Idaho State Fair this summer. She is hoping as much as we are for a complete recovery.
Brian is in the Scouts here and they go on a campout every month. He is loving it.
